BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday 7 December 2015 – The Acting Minister of Defence, First Admiral (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit received a courtesy call from Lieutenant General Eduardo Ano Manahan, Commanding General of the Philippine Army, this morning.
Lieutenant General Eduardo Ano Manahan is in Brunei Darussalam from 6 to 9 December 2015 in an introductory visit after assuming command of the Philippine Army on 15 July 2015.
During the courtesy call, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the existing bilateral defence relations and exchanged views on current regional issues.
