BOLKIAH GARISON, Wednesday 15 December 2015 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Mejar General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received a courtesy call from the Commander 25th Destroyer Squadron, Commodore Bilal Abdul Nasir during the goodwill visit by the Pakistan Navy to Brunei Darussalam.
Accompanying the visit was Captain Rizwan Ali Munawar, Commanding Officer of the Pakistani Naval Ship NASR and Captain Syed Rizwan Khalid, Commanding Officer of the Pakistani Naval ship SHAMSHEER.
During the call, the discussion focused on bilateral defence cooperation through training and exercises between both navies, as well as future initiatives to enhance maritime cooperation. This visit reflects the spirit of friendship not only between both navies, but also between Brunei Darussalam and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
