The meeting was complemented with minutes of the meeting signing at an official dinner in the evening.
The Brunei-Singapore Defence Scholars Leadership Development Programme is divided into two phases: the Brunei Phase and the Singapore Phase. The Brunei Phase entails physically challenging activities that are oriented towards leadership and teambuilding dynamics, while the Singapore phase involves a series of classroom activities, focusing on leadership development, particularly on personal reflection and self-discovery.
Among the objectives of the programme are to nurture among the scholars a sense of responsibility and discovery of personal values, vision and life purpose, both in their personal life and profession, as well as forging stronger bonds among the Bruneian and Singaporean scholars. The programme also seeks to nurture, strengthen and deepen Brunei’s bilateral and personal relations with Singapore.
