PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 7 March 2022 –
Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhd Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), made his introductory visit to the Special Forces Regiment (SFR).
Upon arrival, the Commander of RBAF was welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel Muhd Suwardi Ariffin bin PDLDP Haji Abdul Latiff, Commanding Officer of SFR, Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers at SFR’s headquarters. The visit commenced with a briefing and a visit to the Land Squadron, Jetty Project Site, Quartermaster Store and the Close Quarters Battle Building, which was followed by a separate
Muzakarah session with the Officers, the Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) and Squadron Sergeant Majors of the SFR.
The Commander of RBAF also delivered a speech where he highlighted the importance of the SFR in the RBAF and the need for SFR to maintain its reputation, dedication, readiness and commitment towards defending the country’s sovereignty. He also stressed that this could be achieved by ensuring that tactics and the history of war are thoroughly understood and implemented in place. He further added that though the SFR is a small unit, the unity amongst its personnel makes it strong. Lastly, the RBAF Commander emphasised safeguarding the privacy and security of the SFR to its maximum, as it is the factor that makes the organisation respected.
The introductory visit then concluded with a sending off by the Officers, the RSM and Squadron Sergeant Majors of the SFR.
KUNJUNGAN PENGENALAN PEMERINTAH ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI KE
REJIMEN PASUKAN KHAS (RPK)

Mejar Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhd Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB), telah membuat Kunjungan Pengenalan ke Rejimen Pasukan Khas (RPK).
Sejurus tiba di RPK, Pemerintah ABDB disambut oleh Leftenan Kolonel Muhd Suwardi Ariffin bin PDLDP Haji Abdul Latiff, Pegawai Pemerintah RPK, Pegawai-Pegawai, berserta Pegawai-pegawai Tidak Bertauliah (PTB) Kanan di Markas RPK. Majlis dimulakan dengan taklimat dan tinjauan ke Skuadron Darat, Tapak Jeti, Stor Kuartermaster dan Bangunan Tembak Tempur Rapat yang diikuti dengan sesi Muzakarah bersama Pegawai-Pegawai, RSM dan Skuadron Sarjan Mejar RPK.
Pemerintah ABDB turut menyampaikan ucapannya di mana beliau menekankan kepentingan RPK dalam ABDB dan keperluan bagi RPK mengekalkan reputasi, dedikasi, kesiapsiagaan serta komitmennya untuk mempertahankan kedaulatan negara. Beliau menekankan yang ini akan dapat dicapai dengan memastikan taktik, sejarah dan ilmu peperangan difahami dan dilaksanakan. Beliau turut menambah walaupun RPK adalah sebuah unit yang kecil, anggota yang bersatu akan menjadikan ia kuat. Terakhir sekali, Pemerintah ABDB menitikberatkan penjagaan privasi dan sekuriti RPK yang mana adalah faktor organisasi RPK disegani.
Lawatan kemudiannya diakhiri dengan Pemerintah ABDB di arak keluar oleh Pegawai-Pegawai , RSM dan Skuadron Sarjan Mejar Rejimen Pasukan Khas.
