MUARA, Friday 6 Dec 2013 – the Commander of Royal Cambodian Navy, Vice Admiral Tea Vinh and delegations today made an official visit to Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) in conjunction with Brunei International Defence Exhibition (BRDEX) 2013.
Upon his arrival at the Royal Brunei Navy headquarters, Vice Admiral Tea Vinh was received by, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Halim bin Haji Mohd Hanifah and followed by the inspection on the Guard of Honour exhibited by personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy.
After reviewing the Guard of Honour, Vice Admiral Tea Vinh proceeded to pay a courtesy call to Commander of Royal Brunei Navy. Deputy Commander of RBN, Colonel (L) Pg Norazmi bin Pg Haji Muhammad and several others RBN senior officers were also present during the call.
Several topics were on the agenda during the call but the main highlight was the discussion on naval cooperation and training, where both commanders discussed on areas where it can be materialised and developed.
During the visit, Vice Admiral Tea Vinh and delegations made a short tour to the new RBN Ship Shed and maintenance facilities at Jetty B, Muara Naval Base. Upon completion of the tour, Vice Admiral Tea Vinh and delegations visited one ship of the DARUSSALAM class, KDB DARULAMAN.
Vice Admiral Tea Vinh and spouse, as well as delegates are currently in Brunei Darussalam for BRIDEX 2013 and will be departing on the 7 December 2013. Vice Admiral Tea Vinh also made courtesy calls to Deputy Minister of Defence, Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa Bin Haji Sirat and Commander of The Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin.
