BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 24 January 2019 – The closing ceremony for Tahsinul Fikrah Workshop conducted by the Religious Department of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JAMA’AT) was held at the Auditorium of Performance Optimisation Centre, Bolkiah Garrison.
Present as the guest of honour was Commander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim RBN, the Head of JAMA’AT. Also present at the event were invited guests from other uniformed agencies.
The ceremony commenced with the recital of Surah Yassin and speech by the guest of honour.
In his speech, the Head of JAMA’AT advised the workshop participants to apply and practice the skills acquired from the workshop in a community setting because provision of care to the deceased requires realistic experiences and continuous practice in order to master the knowledge of Fardhu Kifayah. He also highlighted the importance of workshop as it teaches skills to be practiced within the family and work as well as in organisations as a whole.
The ceremony was then followed by the handing of certificates to the course participants and concluded with doa selamat.
The workshop was the first workshop organised by JAMA’AT and saw participants from other agencies namely the Internal Security Department, Royal Brunei Police Force, Fire and Rescue Department, and Prison Department.
MAJLIS PENUTUP BENGKEL TAHSINUL FIKRAH
BOLKIAH GARISON, Khamis, 24 Januari 2019 – Majlis Penutup Bengkel Tahsinul Fikrah (Penyempurnaan Jenazah) bagi Pasukan Beruniform anjuran Jabatan Agama Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (JAMA’AT) telah sempurna dilaksanakan di Bilik Auditorium Pusat Optima Kecergasan Tentera, Bolkiah Garison.
Tetamu kehormat pada majlis tersebut ialah Komander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim TLDB, Ketua Jabatan Agama Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei. Turut hadir ialah pegawai-pegawai jemputan daripada Pasukan Beruniform.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Yassin dan seterusnya tetamu kehormat majlis menyampaikan ucapan penutup.
Dalam ucapannya, Ketua JAMA’AT menasihatkan para peserta bengkel supaya dapat menerapkan segala kemahiran yang ditimba dari bengkel tersebul untuk dipraktikkan dan diamalkan dalam hidup bermasyarakat kerana penyempurnaan jenazah itu memerlukan praktikal yang berlanjutan dan juga pengalaman yang realistik bagi menguasai dan memahirkan diri dalam ilmu fardhu kifayah. Di sinilah kepentingan bengkel ini diungkayahkan agar dapat dipraktikkan dalam lingkungan keluarga dan organisasi kerja.
Beliau seterusnya menyampaikan sijil penyertaan kepada para peserta bengkel dan diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat.
Bengkel yang buat julung kalinya dianjurkan oleh JAMA’AT ini telah berjaya melibatkan pasukan-pasukan beruniform daripada agensi luar iaitu Jabatan Keselamatan Dalam Negeri, Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei, Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat, dan Jabatan Penjara.
