BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday 5 November 2014 – The CHOD 2014 spouses delegation continue their visits to the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Islamic Exhibition Gallery, Darul-Ifta Building located at Jalan Babu Raja.
Here the spouses caught a glimpse of various priceless Islamic artefacts and ancient relics from His Majesty’s private collection such as Islamic Art, a miniature al-Quran, calligraphy in various styles, weaponry, scientific instruments and everyday objects from the Muslim world.
It also display His Majesty’s personal collection of exquisite range of walking sticks and prayer beads
The spouses later paid a visit to Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam located at Kampong Bengkurong where there were entertained with performances of Indian and modern dances by the residents of Pusat Ehsan.
Finally the next day on 6 November, the delegation visit the Mahkota Crystal Sdn Bhd at Lambak Kanan Industrial Area where the delegates view the workers’ activities in manufacturing high-value crystal products and other souvenirs and handicrafts
