BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday 22 May 2014 – His Excellency General Sir Peter Wall, Chief of General Staff of the British Army made courtesy calls on the Deputy Minister of Defence, Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat and the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah.
During the call, both sides discussed on matters pertaining to the enhancement of bilateral defence cooperation. Over the years, bilateral defence relations between the two countries have been warm and friendly, as can be seen through the regular exchange of visits and meetings across all levels of military personnel; as well as cooperation through multilateral defence and security platforms.
Both calls were made at the Ministry of Defence, Bolkiah Garrison this morning.
