BOLKIAH GARISON, Wednesday, 26 June 2024 – The Ministry of Defence held a briefing on The Instilling of Integrity in Administration and Public Service at Dewan Wira Seni, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Band this morning.
The briefing, jointly organised by the Office of Strategy Management, Ministry of Defence, with the cooperation of the Directorate of Administration and Manpower was attended by Yang Mulia Brigadier General (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence. Present as well were the Deputy Permanent Secretary, civilian directors and head of units, alongside 150 civilian officers and staff of the Ministry.
The briefing was delivered by officers from the Anti-Corruption Bureau. It aimed to enhance understanding and awareness of public officials on corruption and its implications to the public service. Moreover, it also creates awareness on unlawful conducts that may be an offence under the Prevention of Corruption Act (Chapter 131). In addition, the briefing aims to nurture the value of integrity among civilian officers and staff of the Ministry of Defence, and maintain a positive working environment, integrity and free from elements of corruption and abuse of power.
TAKLIMAT PENERAPAN INTEGRITI DALAM PENTADBIRAN DAN PERKHIDMATAN AWAM
Kementerian Pertahanan telah mengadakan Taklimat Penerapan Integriti dalam Pentadbiran dan Perkhidmatan Awam pada pagi ini bertempat di Dewan Wira Seni, Pancaragam ABDB.
Taklimat yang dikendalikan oleh Pejabat Pengurusan Strategi, Kementerian Pertahanan dengan kerjasama Jabatanarah Pentadbiran dan Tenaga Manusia itu telah dihadiri oleh Yang Mulia Brigadier Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, Setiausaha Tetap Kementerian Pertahanan. Turut hadir ialah Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap, Pengarah-Pengarah, Ketua-Ketua Unit Awam dan seramai 150 orang pegawai serta kakitangan awam Kementerian ini.
Taklimat yang telah disampaikan oleh pegawai-pegawai dari Biro Mencegah Rasuah itu bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kefahaman dan kesedaran mengenai perbuatan rasuah dan implikasinya dalam perkhidmatan awam.
