BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sunday, 23 September 2018 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Wives Welfare Association (BAKTI) organised a ten-pin bowling match at the Utama Bowling Jalan Laksamana Abdul Razak, Batu Satu, Bandar Seri Begawan.
The event was officiated by the guest of honour, Datin Hajah Kalshom binti Haji Suhaili, spouse of the Minister of Defence II.
Team BAKTI Air Force 2 emerged as champion in the team category, followed by BAKTI Land Force 2 in second place and BAKTI Navy 1 in the third position. The prizes were presented to the winners by the guest of honour.
The ten-pin bowling match is an annual sports activity held by BAKTI aimed to build strong communal bonds amongst the military spouses. The sport match concluded with the presentation of a token of appreciation to the guest of honour by the spouse of Commander of RBAF and also the President of RBAF BAKTI, Datin Hajah Rasidah binti Hj Brahim.
Also present were the spouses of the senior officers and officers of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF.
PERLAWANAN SUKAN BOLING BAKTI ABDB
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Ahad, 23 September 2018 – Badan Kebajikan Isteri-Isteri Angakatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (BAKTI ABDB) telah menganjurkan perlawanan Sukan Ten-Pin Boling di Utama Boling Jalan Laksamana Abdul Razak, Batu Satu, Bandar Seri Begawan.
Acara perlawanan sukan boling ini telah dirasmikan oleh tetamu kehormat majlis iaitu Datin Hajah Kalshom binti Haji Suhaili, isteri kepada Menteri Pertahanan II.
Secara keseluruhan, perlawanan sukan boling dijuarai oleh kumpulan BAKTI Tentera Udara 2 diikuti oleh naib juara iaitu kumpulan BAKTI Tentera Darat 2, dan kumpulan BAKTI Tentera Laut 1 dalam tempat ketiga. Hadiah-hadiah pemenang telah disampaikan oleh tetamu kehormat.
Acara sukan ini adalah salah satu acara tahunan BAKTI Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei yang bertujuan unutk mengeratkan lagi hubungan di antara ahli-ahli BAKTI ABDB. Acara ini diakhiri dengan persembahan tanda penghargaan kepada tetamu kehormat oleh isteri Pemerintah ABDB dan juga Yang DiPertua BAKTI ABDB, Datin Hajah Rasidah binti Hj Brahim.
Turut hadir di acara itu ialah para isteri pegawai-pegawai kanan dan pegawai Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB.
