BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Monday 25 January 2016 – The ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM) Logistics Support Framework Table Top Exercise commenced today at the Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
Officiating the opening ceremony was Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Commander of the Joint Forces, Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
The objective of Table Top Exercise is to validate the ADMM Logistics Support Framework which is aimed at promoting and achieving effective cooperation among ASEAN defence military establishments in areas of common interests.
Chairing the two day meeting are Director of Logistics, Captain Hussein bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad, and Acting Director of Defence Policy, Haji Adi Ihram bin Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud.
The participants included logistics experts from ASEAN Member States, as well as representatives from ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN Coordination Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management (AHA Centre).
