JERUDONG, Tuesday 3 Dec 2013 – BRIDEX Night 2013 reception and welcoming dinner was held at the Indera Samudera Hall, Empire Hotel and Country Club this evening hosted by the Deputy Minister of Defence, Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat.

The Deputy Defence Minister conveyed his appreciation to friends and partners in regional and international affairs for supporting Bridex 2013. He said that they are “glad to see familiar faces and also new ones in this event and to be the centre for everybody to come together to renew the friendship and grab the opportunity to meet new acquaintances.”

“The next few days will be your chance to network with other industry players… both buyers and sellers, which formed as an integral part of the system.  Without them, BRIDEX 2013 will not serve its meaningful purpose.”

Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa hopes that “such networking would not end here at BRIDEX but will continue in the long time to come which is an important part of building commercial relations.”  

Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa also showed gratitude to the Royal Brunei Air Force, showing their aerobatic skills; the F-15s and the aerobatic teams and distinguished speakers for their hardwork.

Over 90 international exhibitors comprising over 140 original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and service providers from over 30 countries signed up for the Bridex 2013.

To enliven the event, the evening was filled with an array of culture, food and entertainment.
