JERUDONG, Sunday, 1 Dec 2013 – A welcoming dinner reception was hosted last evening for the 4th Brunei International Defence Exhibition (BRIDEX) Conference 2013 speakers by the Permanent Secretary (Defence Policy and Development) of Defence, Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Azmansham bin Pengiran Haji Mohamed. The welcoming dinner reception was held at Tarindak Restaurant in Jerudong.
The official opening of the conference will be grace by open by His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and General of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, who will be addressing on ‘National Interest and International Responsibility’.
This year’s conference is organised by the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies (SHHBIDSS), Ministry of Defence and it will held at the BRIDEX International Conference Centre, Jerudong.
The one-day conference have eight prominent speakers of experts and practitioners in the field of military defence, security and related technologies. It is expected to bring together people from government, military and leading authorities to exchange views on current and future security challenges, the various technological solutions that can be adopted to address them.
