PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday 8 April 2013 – A parade to mark the 44th anniversary of Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces was held this morning at Parade Square Training Institute RBAF,  Penanjong Garrison.

The guest of honour was the Commandant of Training Institute RBAF, Lieutenant Colonel Hasmee bin Haji Abdul Wahab.  The parade was join by armed forces personnel and civilian staff which was led by Major Muhd Suradzin bin Haji Muhd Yusuf.

The guest of honour in his speech emphasised on the significant date of the TI RBAF anniversary in terms of its development and progress, and also mentioned of this year anniversary theme `MENINGKATKAN MINDA, KECERGASAN DAN SILATURRAHIM KE ARAH MEMPERTAHANKAN NEGARAKU BRUNEI DARUSSALAM’.  

The theme emphasis on the institute to provide training to armed forces personnel through intellectual and physical well being and to foster comradeship among the personnel, this is significant as to produce well trained professional soldier to tackle today’s challenges.

He also called on all personnel and staff to maintain a high level of discipline and professionalism as a mere mistake may impact the unit and organisations image.
