BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday 12 June 2013 – During the on-going of the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM-Plus) Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) and Military Medicine (MM) Exercise, the military Medical Reception Station (MRS) are providing free health treatments for the public at the Muara Camp, Municipal Hall Bangar and Primary School in Kampong Selangan in Temburong. The health treatment will run from 17th until 20th June 2013.

The MRS will provide minor surgery for removal of lumps and bumps, circumcision for children; primary healthcare services and health screening such as report sick, screening for BMI, blood pressure and blood sugar; traditional Chinese medicine like acupuncture for backaches, muscle aches and weaknesses; and dental check-up and extraction.

These medical treatments will be conducted by certified medical practitioners and surgeons from Brunei Darussalam, China India, Singapore and Malaysia. The provision of these free medical services is part of the social-civic activities to compliment the current military ADMM-Plus HADR & MM exercise.
