BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, June 13, 2013 – Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held a handing over ceremony of 15 cars and 6 motorcycles from suppliers at the Parade Square, Berakas Garrison this afternoon.
The RBAF received 4 types of vehicles from the primary suppliers, 10 Mitsubishi Double Cab, 02 units of Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, 6 Suzuki Motorcycle, 2 units of four ton GS Iveco vehicles and 1 vehicles Nissan Light Recovery.
The vehicles were handed over to the guest of honor, Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The vehicles will be distributed to the units in RBAF.
Representing the suppliers at the ceremony were Mr Jake Goh YM from Goh Hock Kee Sdn Bhd, Mr Teng Chee Khiong YM from Sharif Motor Co. Ltd., Haji Saiful bin Pehin Dato Haji Ahmad Jumat from Grand Motor Co., Ltd. and Major (Retd) Haji Mohd Jair bin Haji Abdul Wahab from Azra Trading Co., Ltd.
Also witnessing the ceremony was the Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force, directors, and officers from the Ministry of Defence and RBAF.
In line with the process of modernization and development of today’s military capabilities, military equipment is not immune from the process of modernization whereby the vehicles will improve the responsiveness of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces in dealing with all assigned missions quickly and efficiently.
PENYERAHAN KENDERAAN DARAT ABDB
BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis 13 Jun 2013
– Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah mengadakan satu majlis
penyerahan rasmi sebanyak 15 buah kenderaan dan 6 buah Motosikal dari
pembekalnya bertempat di Padang Kawad Batalion Pertama Berakas Garison
pada petang ini.
ABDB
telah menerima 4 jenis kenderaan dari para pembekal utama iaitu, 10
buah Mitsubishi Double Cab, 02 buah Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, 6 buah
Motosikal jenis Suzuki, 2 buah kenderaan 4 ton GS Iveco dan 1 buah
kenderaan Nissan Light Recovery.
Kenderaan-kenderaan
tersebut diserahkan kepada tetamu kehormat majlis iaitu, Mejar Jeneral
Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan Bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok
Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja
Brunei. Kenderaan-kenderaan tersebut akan diagihkan kepada unit-unit di
ABDB.

mewakili pembekal-pembekal di upacara ini adalah Awg Jake Goh daripada
Goh Hock Kee Sdn Bhd, Awg Teng Chee Khiong daripada Sharif Motor Sdn
Bhd, Haji Saiful bin Pehin Dato Ahmad Jumat daripada Grand Motor Sdn Bhd
dan Mej (B) Haji Mohd Jair bin Haji Abdul Wahab daripada Azra Trading
Sdn Bhd.
Turut
menyaksikan upacara ini ialah Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei,
Pengarah-pengarah, dan pegawai-pegawai dari Kementerian Pertahanan dan
ABDB.
Sejajar
dengan proses permodenan dan perkembangan keupayaan tentera hari ini,
peralatan-peralatan ketenteraan juga tidak terkecuali dari proses
permodenan tersebut yang mana kenderaan-kenderaan berkenaan akan
mempertingkatkan lagi responsif Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei dalam
menangani segala misi-misi yang diberikan dengan cepat dan berkesan.
