BERAKAS, Saturday 26 Oct 2013 – The Directorate of Development and Work Services Bowling Tournament was held at Megastrike Bowling Sdn Bhd, Airport Mall, Berakas.
The participants consisted of all DDWS officers and staff from all nine garrisons and camps. It is an annual event and aimed at fostering closer relations amongst staff and officers of DDWS.
The tournament was organised by Muara Estate Maintenance Section and the Chief Guest was, Pg Haji Menudin bin Pg Lela Wijaya Pg Haji Yussof– Director of Development and Works Services. A total of 85 players took part.
The tournament was won by Berakas Estate Maintenance Section team A with a total score of 588 points, followed by Lumut Mainentance Section team with 549 points and third was won by Bolkiah Estate Maintenance Section Team with 545 points. Top Scorer went to Johari bin Haji Abd Rahman of Berakas Estate Maintenance Section team A with total points of 173 and Development Project Section team won the Best Dressed Team.
