BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday 7 January 2016 – The Deputy Minister of Defence, First Admiral (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit received a farewell call at the Ministry of Defence from Colonel Reduan bin Haji Omar, the out-going Defence Adviser for Malaysia.

During the call, Deputy Minister of Defence congratulated Colonel Reduan for completing his tenure successfully in Brunei Darussalam. The Deputy Minister appreciated the Malaysian Defence Adviser for improving the defence ties between the two countries and also wished him the best for his future assignments.

The RBAF and the RMAF interact regularly through professional exchanges, training courses and bilateral exercises including Exercise MAL BRU SETIA, Exercise MERTAK BERSATU and Exercise SAREX BRUMAL. These extensive interactions have helped enhance the interoperability between the two armed forces and strengthen the rapport and mutual understanding among their personnel.

The Deputy Minister of Defence presented a momento to the outgoing Defence Adviser in appreciation of his invaluable services.
