BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 6 August 2015 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received a farewell courtesy call from Brigadier General Ko Ko Naing, Military Attachѐ of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Brunei Darussalam before completion of his tour duty.
During the call, both sides discussed about the cordial bilateral relation between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and defence cooperation between RBAF and Myanmar Defence Services.
Both armed forces interact regularly in various platforms through professional exchanges, training courses and military exercises.
These interactions have enhances the interoperability between both armed forces and strengthen the mutual understanding and friendship among personnel.
RBAF hopes to maintain the same level of support, cooperation and professional defence relationship with the incoming Military Attachѐ.
