
HANOI, VIETNAM, Tuesday, 9 June 2015 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and delegation made an introductory visit to Vietnam from 7 to 9 June 2015.
The visit aims to further strengthen the professional bilateral ties and defence cooperation between the two Armed Forces, and countries in general.
Upon arrival at the Vietnam Ministry of Defence Headquarters, the Commander RBAF inspected a Guard of Honour. During the visit, RBAF Commander made separate courtesy calls to General Phung Quang Thanh, Minister of Defence Vietnam, and Senior Lieutenant General Do Ba Ty, Chief of General Staff, Vietnam People’s Army.
This was followed by visits to Division 308, the Infantry Officer School 1, the Battalion and the Vietnam Military History Museum.
RBAF Commander also attended a dinner hosted by the Chief of General Staff.
