BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 7 May 2015 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received an introductory courtesy call from His Excellency Craig Boyd Allen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America.
Also present was First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit, Deputy Commander of RBAF.
During the call, the discussion focused on the warm bilateral ties between Brunei Darussalam and the United States of America. The RBAF and United States military interact regularly through defence exercises, professional exchanges, goodwill visits and military courses.
These types of interactions have bolstered the defence cooperation and mutual understanding between Brunei Darussalam and the United States of America. Future initiatives to further strengthen the professional relationship between the two armed forces and countries in general were also discussed.
