BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 24 April 2015 - First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received a courtesy call from Captain Jonathan Earley, Director Maritime Operation, Fleet Command, Royal Australian Navy in conjunction with EX PENGUIN 16/15 between the Royal Brunei Navy and the Royal Australian Navy.
Accompanying the visit was Lieutenant Colonel (L) Pg Mohammad bin Pg Haji Damit, Fleet Commander Royal Brunei Navy and Lieutenant Commander Philip Draper, Commanding Officer of HMAS Armidale, Royal Australian Navy.
During the courtesy call, the discussion focuses on bilateral defence cooperation through training and exercises between both navies, as well as future initiatives to enhance maritime cooperation.
