THAILAND, BANGKOK, Thursday 23 April 2015 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) made an introductory visit to the the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters (RTARF HQ) this morning.
Upon arrival at the RTARF HQ, Commander of the RBAF was welcomed by General Worapong Sanganetra, Chief of Defence Force, RTARF. He then later inspected the Guard of Honour followed by courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Forces, RTARF.
During the visit, the Commander of the RBAF also had the opportunity to attend a meeting at the National Defence Studies Institute (NDSI) present was Lt Gen Somchai Watcharanard, Deputy Commanding General, NDSI and briefly illustrated what they have to offer within their training program.
The visit is aimed to further strengthen the existing bilateral defence ties and cooperation between the two countries. Yang Dimuliakan Pehin as well as delegation arrived on 22 April 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand for a 3 days visit.
