BOLKIAH GARRISON, Tuesday 21 April 2015 – A high-level delegation from the National Defence Studies Institute (NDSI) of the Kingdom of Thailand, including senior generals of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, led by Major General Chaianan JANTAKANANURUK, Director, Strategic Studies Center (SSC), National Defence Studies Institute (NDSI) paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Minister of Defence, Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat.

Major General Chaianan JANTAKANANURUK and his delegation are on an academic tour to promote Thailand-Brunei cooperation on defence studies with the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies at the Ministry of Defence, think tank unit of the Ministry of Defence. Both sides discussed issues of mutual interest and explore prospects for research project partnerships.

The SSC is part of the National Defence Studies Institute of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters, and is a premier academic research institute in Thailand dedicated to defence and security.
