SINGAPORE, Wednesday 4 March 2015 - First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Hj Mohd Tamit, Commander Royal Brunei Navy and spouse Datin Sakdiah bte Haji Mohd Noor conducted a farewell visit to Singapore from 3rd to 5th March 2015.
Upon arrival at the Ministry of Defence, Singapore, the Commander RBN was greeted by senior officers from the Republic of Singapore Navy and inspected the Guard of Honour. On completion, Commander RBN called upon Rear Admiral Lai Chung Han, Chief of Navy, Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN); Lieutenant General Ng Chee Meng, Chief of Defence Forces, Singapore Armed Forces. The call was concluded with a call to His Excellency Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Defence, Republic of Singapore. During the courtesy calls, various defense matters were discussed, aimed at enhancing closer ties between RBN and RSN.
First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Hj Mohd Tamit is due to hand over his current appointment on 13th March 2015 before beginning his tour officially as Deputy Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
