BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday 20 November 2014 – Deputy Chief of Staff, Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Kiem, made a courtesy call to Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah at Ministry of Defence, Bolkiah Garrison.
The Rear Admiral was accompanied by Ships’ Commanding Officers, Commander Nguyen Dinh Giang, HQ-011 and Captain Nguyen Van Ngan, HQ-12. The delegation were in the country for two day inaugural goodwill visit.
The visit by Deputy Chief of Staff, Vietnam People’s Navy underscored the deep understanding and enhanced the warm and cordial defence relationship between the two countries, which has been established for a long time.
Both countries have frequently conducted exchange of visits at different level and support each other in international and regional arena.
