BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Monday 3 November 2014 – As part of the Spouses’ Programme for the Chiefs of Defense Annual Conference (CHOD) 2014, the spouses and their delegations made a trip to places of interest in the Sultanate.
 
The wife of the Acting Deputy Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Datin Hajah Masnunah binti Haji Ibrahim, led the spouses’ visit.

The tour started with a panoramic view of Kampong Ayer and a visit to Kampong Ayer Cultural and Tourism Gallery. The delegation were also told of the legendary story of Jong Batu and its legacy while cruising the river before making a stop at the Penghulu of Mukim Tamoi’s home, Pengarah Haji Mokti bin Mohd Salleh.

The villagers gave demonstrations on traditional dance and music instruments, displayed handicrafts and traditional music.

The delegation then visit the Royal Regalia Building at the heart of the capital where it showcased the Coronation and Silver Jubilee Chariots, Royal Gifts and artefacts.
