BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday 22 May 2014 – His Excellency General Sir Peter Wall, Chief of General Staff of the British Army made an official working visit to the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF).
Upon arrival at the RBLF Headquarters, General Sir Peter Wall, inspected a Guard of Honour mounted by the personnel of the Second Battalion RBLF. A courtesy call was made to the Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Hai Yussof bin Haji Abd Rahman, Commander of RBLF.
The visit was aimed at strengthening bonds, friendship and enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of defence between the two armed forces.
General Sir Peter Wall also had the opportunity to visit the British Forces Royal 1RGR, at Tucker Lines, Seria. His brief stay in the sultanate starts from 21 to 23 May 2014.

– Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) hari ini menerima lawatan kerja
daripada General Sir Peter Wall, Chief of General Staff of the British
Army.
Sejurus tiba di Markas TDDB, General Sir Peter Wall menerima Tabik
Hormat daripada Kawalan Kehormatan yang terdiri daripada anggota
Batalion Kedua TDDB dan seterusnya membuat kunjungan hormat kepada
Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Yussof bin Haji Abd Rahman,
Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei.
Lawatan kerja ini bertujuan untuk memperkukuhkan lagi persahabatan
dan meningkatkan kerjasama dua hala khususnya di bidang pertahanan
antara kedua angkatan tentera.
Dalam kesempatan yang lain, General Sir Peter Wall juga berpeluang
untuk melawat ke British Forces Royal 1RGR, di Tucker Lines, Seria.
Lawatan kerja ini berlangsung selama 3 hari bermula daripada 21 hingga
23 Mei 2014.
