MUARA, Monday, 28 August 2017 – Preparations are in full swing for the upcoming celebration of the 56th RBAF Anniversary. A ceremony to hand over the RBAF Anniversary posters was held this afternoon at the Nakhoda Hall of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Training Centre in Muara. The RBAF received 200 posters that were published by the Information Department, Prime Minister’s Office in collaboration with the Public Relations Unit (PRU) of the Ministry of Defence.
The poster presentation ceremony began with a blessing prayer followed by an opening remark by the Chairman of the 56th RBAF Anniversary Celebration, Deputy Commander of RBN, Captain Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, RBN.
The anniversary posters were handed over by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence, also the Chairman of the Poster Presentation Ceremony, Lieutenant Commander Norharirayati binti Yakub, RBN to Captain Haji Othman, who then presented the posters to the public relations officers, representatives from all government ministries and departments, and representatives from units under the RBAF, as well as Brunei Ex-Soldiers Association (PBPNBD).
The distribution of the posters serves to create awareness among the general public on the 56th RBAF Anniversary celebration that was rescheduled out of respect for the holy month of Ramadhan. The theme for this year’s celebration is ‘Bersama Menjayakan Wawasan Negara’.
PENGAGIHAN POSTER SAMBUTAN HARI ULANG TAHUN ABDB KE-56
MUARA, Isnin, 28 Ogos 2017 – Persiapan giat sedang dijalankan untuk menyambut Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) yang ke-56. Satu Majlis Penyerahan Poster telah diadakan pada petang ini di Dewan Nakhoda, Pusat Latihan Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB) di Muara. Pihak ABDB telah menerima poster sebanyak 200 keping yang diterbitkan oleh Jabatan Penerangan, Jabatan Perdana Menteri melalui kerjasama Unit Perhubungan Awam, Kementerian Pertahanan.
Majlis Penyerahan Poster telah dimulakan dengan bacaan Doa Kesyukuran diikuti dengan ucapan alu-aluan dari Timbalan Pemerintah TLDB, Kepten Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, TLDB, selaku Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Sambutan HUT ABDB ke-56.
Poster-poster tersebut diserahkan oleh Jurucakap Kementerian Pertahanan, Leftenan Komander Norharirayati binti Yakub, TLDB, selaku Pengerusi Majlis Penyerahan Poster kepada Kepten Haji Othman yang kemudian menyerahkannya kepada Pegawai-Pegawai Perhubungan Awam, wakil-wakil dari Kementerian-Kementerian, Jabatan-Jabatan Kerajaan, dan wakil-wakil dari unit-unit ABDB serta Persatuan Bekas Perajurit Negara Brunei Darussalam (PBKNBD).
Pemberigaan poster-poster ini bertujuan untuk memaklumkan kepada orang ramai akan perlangsungan Sambutan HUT ABDB ke-56 tersebut, yang ditangguhkan bagi menghormati bulan Ramadhan. Tema bagi Sambutan HUT ABDB pada tahun ini ialah ‘Bersama Menjayakan Wawasan Negara’.
