BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday 24 May 2017 – A forum entitled ‘Defence Diplomacy: How best could the Ministry of Defence play a constructive role in the national, regional and international arena’ was held by the Ministry of Defence today at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies (SHHBIDSS). The forum was hosted by the Directorate of Defence Policy.
The Wednesday forum featured a panel of military and civilian officers of the ministry and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). The forum is a monthly event organised by the ministry with an objective of providing a platform for officers of the ministry to come together and address issues of common interest.
Present was the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, Captain (Retired) Abd Rahman bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Bakar, RBN, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Senior Military and Civillian Officers of the ministry and the RBAF.
KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN MENGANJURKAN FORUM WEDNESDAY DALAM DIPLOMASI PERTAHAN
BOLKIAH GARISON, Friday, 26 May – Kementerian Pertahanan pada hari ini menganjurkan forum bertajuk Defence Diplomacy: How best could the Ministry of Defence play a constructive role in the national, regional and international arena was di Institut Pengajian Pertahanan dan Strategik Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (SHHBIDSS). Forum tersebut telah dianjurkan oleh Jabatanarah Dasar Pertahanan.
Forum tersebut disempurnakan dengan ahli-ahli panel yang terdiri dari pegawai-pegawai tentera dan awam daripada Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB). Forum itu merupakan acara bulanan yang dianjurkan oleh kementerian dengan objektik untuk memberikan platform bagi pegawai-pegawai di kementerian untuk berjumpa dan berbincang mengenai isu-isu kepentingan bersama.
Hadir ialah Setiausaha Tetap di Kementerian Pertahanan, Kepten (Bersara) Abd Rahman bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Bakar, Timbalan Setiausaha-Setiausaha Tetap serta Pegawai-Pegawai Tentera dan Awam Kanan di Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB.
