BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 8 December 2016 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received an introductory call from His Excellency Major General (Rtd) Tariq Rashid Khan, High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam.
During the call, RBAF Commander welcomed His Excellency Major General (Rtd) Tariq Rashid Khan and congratulated His Excellency on his new appointment as the High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam. Both sides expressed their appreciation and commended the rapidly expanding relationship and cooperation between the two countries, especially the strong defence ties between the RBAF and Pakistani Armed Forces.
RBAF and Pakistani Armed Forces interact regularly through professional exchanges, goodwill visits and military courses. These types of interactions have strengthened the professional defence cooperation and mutual understanding between Brunei Darussalam and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
