TUTONG, Saturday 24 September 2016 – Brigadier General Pg Dato Seri Pahlawan Aminan bin Pg Haji Mahmud, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) and General Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi bin Raja Mohamed Noor, the Chief of the Malaysian Army preceded the closing ceremony of Exercise BRUMAL SETIA 13/2016, held in Tutong District today.
The ceremony began with a demonstration of the Exercise final attack followed by the honorary salute, led by Major Muhd Suwardi Ariffin bin PDLDP Haji Abdul Latip.
The official closing of BRUMAL SETIA 13/2016 was marked with a handover ceremony of the exercise flag and a do’a to bless the occasion. The ceremony also heard speeches delivered by the Commander RBLF and the Chief of the Malaysian Army.
The Exercise, held from the 15 to 21 September 2016, was participated by units of Company A from the First Battalion of the RBLF and Company C from the 20 Malay Regiment of the Malaysian Army, involving 318 personnel from both land forces. The exercise aims at enhancing interoperability, strengthening mutual understanding and advancing friendly relations between the two land forces. This is the 13th series since its inception in 1993.
MAJLIS PENUTUP EKSESAIS BRUMAL SETIA SIRI 13/2016
TUTONG, Sabtu 24 September 2016 – Brigadier Jeneral Pg Dato Seri Pahlawan Aminan bin Pg Haji Mahmud, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) dan Jeneral Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Bin Raja Mohamed Noor, Panglima Tentera Darat Malaysia (TDM) telah menyempurnakan Majlis Penutup Eksesais BRUMAL SETIA Siri 13/2016, yang berlangsung di Daerah Tutong hari ini.
Majlis dimulakan dengan pertunjukan serangan akhir Eksesais yang diikuti dengan tabik hormat yang dipimpin oleh Mejar Muhd Suwardi Ariffin bin PDLDP Haji Abdul Latip.
Penutupan rasmi BRUMAL SETIA 13/2016 diserikan dengan majlis penyerahan bendera eksesais dan bacaan Doa bagi memberkati upacara berkenaan. Majlis juga diisi dengan penyampaian ucapan oleh Pemerintah TDDB dan Panglima TDM.
Eksesais, yang berlangsung pada 15 hingga 21 September 2016, disertai oleh Unit-unit dari Kompeni A Batalion Pertama TDDB (1Bn TDDB) dan Kompeni C, 20 Rejimen Askar Melayu Diraja (RAMD) melibatkan seramai 318 anggota dari kedua-dua angkatan tentera darat. Eksesais ini bertujuan untuk mempertingkatkan interoperability, mengukuhkan kesefahaman bersama dan terus mengeratkan hubungan baik antara kedua-dua angkatan tentera darat. Tahun ini merupakan Eksesais kali ke-13, sejak permulaanya pada tahun 1993.
