BOLKIAH GARRISON, Tuesday 23 August 2016 – A delegation of twenty-two people from the Bangladesh National Defence College (NDC) is currently in Brunei Darussalam for a five-day study tour.
Air Vice Marshal M Sanaul Huq, Senior Directing Staff of the Bangladesh NDC, today called on both the Deputy Minister of Defence, First Admiral (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit and the Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Brigadier General Pg Dato Seri Pahlawan Aminan bin Pg Haji Mahmud. Both sides expressed satisfaction on bilateral defence cooperation and discussed prospects for further strengthening cooperation.
During their visit to the Ministry of Defence, the delegation attended briefings on the functions and roles of the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, an overview of Defence Academy, Brunei Darussalam’s defence policies as well as exchanged views on the immediate security challenges in Asia.
The delegation, which also comprises participants from Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Nigeria will be visiting other government ministries and agencies in the next few days as part of their study tour.
