BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday 8 August 2016 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received an introductory call from Colonel Keosouvanh Phangphilavong, Defence Attaché of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Brunei Darussalam.
During the call, the discussion focused on the warm bilateral ties between Brunei Darussalam and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The RBAF and the Lao People’s Armed Forces interact regularly through defence exercises, professional exchanges, goodwill visits and military courses.
Future initiatives to further strengthen the professional relationship between the two countries and armed forces were also discussed.
