BOLKIAH GARRISON, Tuesday 2 August 2016 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received a working visit from the Persatuan Bekas Parajurit Negara Brunei Darussalam (PBP NBD) led by Yang Di-Pertua PBP NBD, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Padukaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Shari bin Ahmad.
The intention of the working visit was to highlight various matters related to the interest of the association, whereby the Commander RBAF is appointed as the Administrative Advisor of the association.
This year, PBP NBD is given the honour to host the 16th General Assembly and the 29th Board of Executive Meeting for the Veterans Confederation of ASEAN Countries (VECONAC) in October 2016. The VECONAC is an organisation representing the Military Veterans from the ASEAN countries and the 1st General Assembly was held in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia in 1980.
