BOLKIAH GARRISON, Tuesday 26 July 2016 – Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received a courtesy call from Brigadier Stephen McMahon, Head of International Policy and Planning (Military), United Kingdom.
Commander RBAF thanked Brigadier McMahon for the continuous support given over the years and the close bilateral defence relationship shared between Brunei Darussalam and the United Kingdom. The presence of the British Forces in Brunei, as well as Loan Service Personnel working closely with the RBAF personnel for the past seven years following the bilateral agreement between Brunei Darussalam and the United Kingdom signifies the mutual trust and cooperation that the two countries have for one another. Both sides also discussed about the current issues surrounding the region.
