KUALA BELAIT, Friday, 26 October 2018 – A personnel from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), 52179 Private Mohammad Jamarul Rosaidy bin Jamily from 3rd Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) has converted to Islam in an official ceremony held at the Surau Ar-Rahmah, Lumut Camp.
Present at the ceremony as the guest of honour was Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of the RBAF.
Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abd Hamid bin Haji Mumin, Member of the Legislative Council; Service Commanders; Awang Ridzuan bin Haji Ahmad, Acting Belait District Officer, Awang Haji Roslan bin Haji Ratu, Acting Director of Pusat Da’wah Islamiah; directors and officers from the RBAF and the Islamic Da’wah Centre; as well as family members.
The ceremony began with the recital of verses from the Al-Qur’an and the declaration of Syahadah (declaration of faith) led by an officer from the Islamic Da’wah Centre.
Subsequently, the Dikir Marhaban as well as the sprinkling of bunga rampai and presentation of gifts were delivered by the guest of Honour, invited guests and families.
ANGGOTA TDDB MEMELUK AGAMA ISLAM
KUALA BELAIT, Jumaat, 26 Oktober 2018 – Seorang anggota Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) iaitu 52179 Soldadu Mohammad Jamarul Rosaidy bin Jamily dari unit Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah memeluk agama Islam di Surau Ar-Rahmah, Perkhemahan Lumut hari ini.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat pada majlis tersebut ialah Mejar Jeneral Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.
Turut hadir ialah Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abd Hamid bin Haji Mumin, Ahli Majlis Mesyuarat Negara; Pemerintah-Pemerintah Angkatan Tentera; Awang Ridzuan bin Haji Ahmad, Pemangku Pegawai Daerah Belait, Awang Haji Roslan bin Haji Ratu, Pemangku Pengarah Pusat Dakwah Islamiyyah; Pengarah-Pengarah serta Pegawai-pegawai ABDB dan Pusat Dakwah Islamiyyah serta ahli keluarga.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan ayat-ayat suci Al-Quran, diikuti dengan lafaz syahadah oleh 52179 Soldadu Mohammad Jamarul Rosaidy yang dipimpin oleh pegawai dari Pusat Dakwah Islamiyyah.
Majlis diserikan lagi dengan laungan dikir marhaban dan taburan bunga rampai serta penyampaian cenderahati daripada Tetamu Kehormat serta jemputan yang hadir kepada saudara baru.
