REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA, Friday, 12 October 2018 – Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) made an introductory visit to the Republic of Indonesia from 9 to 12 October 2018.
Upon arrival at the Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD) Headquarters, the Commander of RBLF was received by General Mulyono, Chief of Staff of TNI-AD which was followed by an inspection of the Guard of Honour mounted by the personnel of the TNI-AD. The Commander of the RBLF then proceeded with his courtesy call to General Mulyono.
During the calls, both sides reiterated the long-standing bilateral relations between both armed forces that has been strengthened through a multitude of activities such as exercises, training and courses. These interactions have enhanced the professionalism and camaraderie between the personnel from both armies. As part of the visit programme, the Commander of RBLF had the opportunity to visit PT Pindad, a state-owned enterprise that manufactures military products for TNI.
The visit is aimed at strengthening the ties between the RBLF and TNI-AD as part of the long-standing diplomatic relations of both countries’ armed forces.
LAWATAN PENGENALAN PEMERINTAH TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI KE REPUBLIK INDONESIA
REPUBLIK INDONESIA, Jumaat, 12 Oktober 2018 – Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan lawatan pengenalan ke Republik Indonesia dari 9 hingga 12 Oktober 2018.
Ketibaan Pemerintah TDDB di Markas Besar Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Darat (TNI AD) dialu-alukan oleh Yang Terhormat Jenderal TNI Mulyono, Kepala Staf TNI AD dan seterusnya memeriksa Kawalan Kehormatan yang terdiri dari anggota dari TNI AD. Pemerintah TDDB kemudiannya membuat kunjungan hormat kepada Yang Terhormat Jenderal TNI Mulyono.
Semasa kunjungan hormat tersebut, kedua belah pihak mengesahkan hubungan dua hala yang lama terjalin di antara kedua-dua angkatan tentera yang mana diperkuatkan melalui pelbagai aktiviti seperti eksesais, latihan dan kursus.
Melalui interaksi ini akan dapat meningkatkan profesionalisme dan persahabatan antara anggota dari kedua-dua angkatan tentera. Sebahagian program beliau, Pemerintah TDDB juga berpeluang membuat lawatan ke PT Pindad, sebuah syarikat negara yang mengeluarkan produk keupayaan tentera bagi TNI.
Lawatan pengenalan ini bertujuan mengukuhkan talian persahabatan antara TDDB dan TNI AD sebagai sebahagian hubungan diplomatik di antara angkatan tentera kedua-dua negara.
