BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sunday, 25 February 2018 – The big-sized Brunei Darussalam national flag that was hoisted since 16 February has been lowered down, marking the end of the period of hoisting the national flag throughout the country.
The hoisting of the main National flag in the capital was in conjunction with the Brunei Darussalam’s 34th National Day celebration. The lowering of the national flag was conducted by 20 personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) led by Lieutenant Junior Grade Helmi bin Junaidi, RBN accompanied by the National Anthem, ‘Allah Peliharakan Sultan’.
Subsequently, the main National flag was handed over to Dato Paduka Awang Ahmaddin Bin Haji Abd Rahman, Deputy Minister of Finance, Ministry of Finance.
ACARA PENURUNAN BENDERA BESAR SEMPENA SAMBUTAN HARI KEBANGSAAN NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Ahad, 25 Februari 2018 – Bendera besar Negara Brunei Darussalam yang telah dinaikkan sejak 16 Februari telah diturunkan menandakan berakhirnya tempoh bendera Negara dinaikkan di seluruh Negara.
Bendera besar tersebut telah dinaikkan sebelum ini bersempena dengan Sambutan Hari Kebangsaan Negara Brunei Darussalam yang ke-34 tahun. Penurunan bendera besar ini telah dilaksanakan oleh 20 anggota dari Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB) yang telah diketuai oleh Leftenan Madya Helmi bin Junaidi, TLDB dengan diiringi lagu kebangsaan, ‘Allah Peliharakan Sultan’.
Setelah penurunan, bendera besar tersebut telah diserahkan kepada Dato Paduka Awang Ahmaddin Bin Haji Abd Rahman, Timbalan Menteri Kewangan, Kementerian Kewangan.
