BOLKIAH GARRISON, Sunday 19 November 2017 – The Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) today held the opening ceremony of its Dikir Maulud celebration. Present at the ceremony as the Guest of Honour was the Commander of the RBAF, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah.
Also present were Joint Force Commander RBAF, senior officers, officers and staffs of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF.
The Dikir Maulud will be held continuously for 13 nights this year at mosques and suraus throughout the country including Surau Ad-Difa’ at the Ministry of Defence to usher in the celebration for the birthday of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
The ceremony began with the recital of Al-Quran followed by mass Maghrib prayers, Dikir Marhaban and mass Isyak prayers. Similar ceremonies also took place in all suraus in the RBAF camps.
MALAM DIKIR MAULUD DIMULAKAN DI KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN & ABDB
BOLKIAH GARISON, Ahad, 19 November 2017 – Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) hari ini memulakan majlis sambutan Dikir Maulud. Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat di majlis tersebut ialah Pemerintah ABDB, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Mejar Jeneral Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah.
Turut hadir ialah Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama ABDB, pegawai-pegawai kanan, pegawai-pegawai serta kakitangan Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB.
Sambutan Dikir Maulud akan diadakan secara berturut-turut selama 13 malam pada tahun ini di masjid-masjid dan surau-surau di seluruh negara termasuk Surau Ad-Difa’ di Kementerian Pertahanan sempena memperingati Hari Keputeraan Junjungan Besar, Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
Acara dimulakan dengan pembacaan ayat-ayat suci Al-Quran diikuti dengan sembahyang fardhu Maghrib berjemaah, Dikir Marhaban dan sembahyang fardhu Isyak berjemaah. Majlis yang sama juga diadakan di kesemua surau-surau ABDB.
