BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 21 September 2017 – In marking the new Islamic Year 1439 Hijrah, the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held celebration ceremonies late this afternoon at all the suraus in the RBAF Garrisons.
The ceremony at Surau Ad-Difa’ in Bolkiah Garrison began with the recital of the Holy Quran Surah Al-Imran verse 190-195 followed by the end of the year 1438 Hijrah prayer, a mass Maghrib prayer, recitation of ‘wirid’ and the Islamic New Year 1439 Hijrah prayer.
The event also featured a Special Hijrah religious talk focused on “Kepimpinan Adil Teras Kesejahteraan”, delivered by Captain Narulismandy bin Haji Samaih from the RBAF Religious Department (JAMA’AT). The ceremony concluded with the mass Isya’ Prayer.
The ceremony was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Mohd Ismaon bin Haji Zainie, Chief of Staff Joint Forces RBAF, as the Guest of Honour together with military and civilian officers and personnel of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF.
SAMBUTAN AWAL TAHUN BARU 1439 HIJRAH
BOLKIAH GARISON, Khamis, 21 September 2017 – Bagi menyambut Tahun Baru Hijrah 1439, Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah mengadakan Sambutan Awal Tahun Hijrah bertempat di semua Surau Garison ABDB.
Di Surau Ad-Difa’ di Bolkiah Garison, majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan ayat-ayat suci Al-Quran Surah Al-Imran ayat 190-195 diikuti dengan bacaan Doa Akhir Tahun 1438 Hijrah, sembahyang Fardhu Maghrib berjemaah, bacaan wirid dan seterusnya Doa Awal Tahun 1439 Hijrah.
Majlis diserikan dengan Ceramah Khas bertajuk “Kepimpinan Adil Teras Kesejahteraan”, yang disampaikan oleh Kapten Narulismandy bin Haji Samaih dari Jabatan Agama, ABDB (JAMA’AT). Majlis diakhiri dengan sembahyang Fardhu Isya berjemaah.
Majlis tersebut dihadiri oleh Leftenan Kolonel Mohd Ismaon bin Haji Zainie, Ketua Staf Markas Angkatan Bersama ABDB, selaku Tetamu Kehormat berserta pegawai-pegawai dan anggota tentera dan awam Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB).
