BOLKIAH GARRISON, Tuesday, 5 September 2017 – The Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held a Korban and Aqiqah ceremony at the Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garrison, in commemoration of the Aidil Adha celebration for the year 1438 Hijrah/2017 Masehi.
The ceremony was organised by Directorate of Development and Work Services and Depoh Logistic, Combat Service Support, Royal Brunei Land Force.
Present as the Guest of Honour were Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Joint Force Commander RBAF and Captain (Retired) Haji Mohd Amirul Shahnoel bin Haji Mohd Noeh, Deputy Permanent Secretary Technology and Development.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by the distribution of the Korban meat to the guests and recipients at the event.
This year, the Ministry of Defence contributed and sacrificed 7 buffaloes and 7 goats. Similar Korban and Aqiqah events are celebrated throughout the RBAF military camps from 10 Zulhijjah 1438H until 13 Zulhijjah 1438H.
Also in attendance at the ceremony were Directors, military and civillian personnel of the Ministry of Defence and Bolkiah Garrison. The community and the village head living around the area of Bolkiah Garrison were also invited to this ceremony.
MAJLIS IBADAH KORBAN DAN AQIQAH DI BOLKIAH GARISON
BOLKIAH GARISON, Selasa, 5 September 2017 – Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah mengadakan majlis ibadah Korban dan Aqiqah bagi sambutan Hari Raya Aidil Adha bagi tahun 1438 Hijrah/2017 Masehi di Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garison, Kementerian Pertahanan.
Majlis tersebut dianjurkan oleh Jabatanarah Pembangunan dan Perkhidmatan Kerja dan Depoh Logistik, Khidmat Bantuan Kombat, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Brigadier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama ABDB dan Kepten (B) Haji Mohd Amirul Shahnoel bin Haji Mohd Noeh, TLDB, Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap Teknologi dan Pembangunan.
Acara ini bermula dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan Doa Selamat diikuti dengan penyerahan daging korban kepada peserta majlis korban.
Tahun ini, Kementerian Pertahanan menyumbang dan mengorbankan sebanyak 7 ekor kerbau dan 7 ekor kambing. Acara Korban dan Aqiqah telah diraikan di seluruh kem tentera ABDB dari 10 Zulhijjah 1438 hingga 13 Zulhijjah 1438.
Turut hadir di majlis ini Pengarah-Pengarah, tentera dan kakitangan awam Kementerian Pertahanan dan Bolkiah Garison. Orang awam serta ketua kampung yang tinggal di sekitar kawasan Bolkiah Garison juga dijemput ke majlis ini.
