BOLKIAH GARRISON, Tuesday, 18 February 2020 – 10 officers from the Ministry of Defence Brunei Darussalam completed their Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply Course today. The course was presented by Mr. Pavan Sharma, the Director of Advance Supply Chain Training Centre, Singapore and coordinated by the Directorate of Development and Works Services.
The course was attended by 2 officers from the Centre of Science and Technology Research and Development, 6 officers from the Directorate of Development and Work Services, and 2 officers from the Directorate of Finance and Acquisition.
The CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply Operations is a vocationally related professional qualification course formally recognised in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and Africa. The program would enable participants to provide advice and guidance on the performance of organisation procedures and processes associated with procurement and supply, and to manage development and improvement to related functions.
The course, which started in September 2019, consists of 8 modules presented in a series of 2-day courses every other month. The course ended today as the final presentation was carried out in the new MRS HQ. Upon program completion, course participants received certificates of participation. In the coming months, course participants will undertake course examinations to obtain the Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
10 PEGAWAI BERJAYA MENAMATKAN KURSUS ‘LEVEL 4 DIPLOMA IN PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY’
BOLKIAH GARISON, Selasa, 18 Februari 2020 – 10 pegawai Kementerian Pertahanan Brunei telah berjaya menamatkan kursus ‘Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply’ pada hari ini. Kursus tersebut disampaikan oleh Tuan Pavan Sharma, Pengarah Advance Supply Chain Training Centre, Singapore dan diselaraskan oleh Jabatanarah Pembangunan dan Perkhidmatan Kerja.
Kursus dihadiri oleh 2 orang pegawai Pusat Penyelidikan dan Perkembangan Sains dan Teknologi, 6 orang pegawai Jabatanarah Pembangunan dan Perkhidmatan Kerja dan 2 orang pegawai Jabatanarah Kewangan dan Perolehan.
‘CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply Operations’ ialah kelayakan profesional dari segi vokasional yang dikenal secara rasmi di United Kingdom, Emiriah Arab Bersatu dan Afrika. Dengan menamatkan kursus, para peserta akan dapat memberi nasihat dan bimbingan mengenai prestasi prosedur-prosedur organisasi dan proses yang berkaitan dengan perolehan dan bekalan, dan akan berupaya mengurus pembangunan dan peningkatan fungsi-fungsi berkaitan.
Kursus bermula pada September 2019, mengandungi 8 modul yang disampaikan secara 2-hari setiap bulan. Kursus berakhir pada hari ini di dalam bangunan baru Ibu Pejabat MRS. Semasa penutup kursus, para peserta menerima sijil penyertaan. Dalam beberapa bulan akan datang, para peserta akan menghadapi peperiksaan untuk mendapatkan
Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
