BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 31 January 2020 – Due to the recent outbreak of the coronavirus in various countries, including neighbouring ones, the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) in accordance with the nation’s call, performed a mass Sunat Hajat prayer and a recitation of a special doa for the safety and protection of the people of Brunei Darussalam from the epidemic.
Present at the event was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Second Minister of Defence; Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, the Commander of the RBAF; Brigadier General (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence; Joint Force Commander; Deputy Permanent Secretary; Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary; senior officers; officers as well as RBAF personnel.
The special prayer and the reading of the special doa will be held continuously until further notice, right after Zuhur and Maghrib prayers. These prayers and doa are held in all the suraus in the RBAF camps.
SEMBAHYANG SUNNAT HAJAT DAN BACAAN DOA KHAS TOLAK BALA PERINGKAT KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN DAN ABDB
BOLKIAH GARISON, Jumaat, 31 Januari 2020 – Berikutan dengan merebaknya wabak Koronavirus yang sedang melanda di beberapa buah negara pada masa ini, Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB), dengan menyahut seruan negara, dengan melaksanakan Solat Sunat Hajat dan Bacaan Doa Khas Tolak Bala dengan niat agar seluruh penduduk Negara Brunei Darussalam terhindar daripada bala dan segala penyakit khasnya wabak Koronavirus
Turut hadir adalah Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Mejar Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Menteri Pertahanan Kedua; Mejar Jeneral Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Pemerintah ABDB; Brigedier Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah, Setiausaha Tetap Kementerian Pertahanan; Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama ABDB; Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap; Pemangku Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap; pegawai-pegawai kanan; pegawai-pegawai dan anggota – anggota ABDB.
Solat Sunat Hajat dan Bacaan Doa Khas Tolak Bala ini akan dilaksanakan secara berterusan sehingga ke satu tarikh yang akan dimaklumkan kemudian, selepas menunaikan sembahyang Fardhu Zuhur dan sembahyang Fardhu Maghrib berjemaah di seluruh surau perkhemahan ABDB.
