REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Tuesday, 15 October 2019 – The Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Haji Amiruddin bin Haji Mohd Hassan attended the opening ceremony of the Seoul International Aerospace and Defence Exhibition 2019 on 15 October 2019 as the head of the delegation from the Ministry of Defence, Brunei Darussalam.
The opening ceremony was officiated by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, Lee Nak-Yeon, and was attended by representatives from defence and security organisations worldwide. During the opening ceremony, the Deputy Permanent Secretary viewed the indoor and outdoor exhibitions which showcased the latest technologies in the aerospace defence. The opening ceremony concluded with an air show performed by the ROK Air Force. The Deputy Permanent Secretary also attended an official dinner event held at the Seoul Dragon City Hotel Baekdu Ballroom, which was hosted by the Minister of National Defence, Republic of Korea.
ADEX 2019, which started on 15 October 2019, is a biennial event which hosts the largest aviation and aerospace exhibition in Northeast Asia, and is expected to end on 20 October 2019.
TIMBALAN SETIAUSAHA TETAP HADIRI SEOUL INTERNATIONAL ADEX 2019 DI KOREA

Seoul International Aerospace and Defence Exhibition 2019 pada 15 Oktober 2019 sebagai ketua delegasi dari Kementerian Pertahanan, Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Acara ini dirasmikan oleh Perdana Menteri Republik Korea, Lee Nak-Yeon, dan dihadiri oleh wakil-wakil pertubuhan pertahanan dan keselamatan dari seluruh dunia. Semasa upacara pembukaan, Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap mendapat peluang untuk melawat pameran dalaman dan luaran yang menunjukkan teknologi terkini dalam sektor pertahanan aeroangkasa dan sistem udara. Majlis perasmian itu diakhiri dengan persembahan udara oleh Tentera Udara ROK. Selain itu, Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap, Kementerian Pertahanan juga menghadiri acara makan malam rasmi yang diadakan di
Seoul Dragon City Hotel Baekdu Ballroom yang dianjurkan oleh Menteri Pertahanan Republik Korea.
ADEX 2019 adalah acara dwitahunan yang bermula pada 15 Oktober 2019 dan merupakan pameran teknologi aeroangkasa yang terbesar di Asia Timur Laut. Acara tersebut dijangka berakhir pada 20 Oktober 2019.
