PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA, Friday, 18 October 2019 – The Honourable Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, the Second Minister of Defence made a joint call on Chinese President Xi Jinping in Wuhan on 18 October 2019.
The joint call, together with other defence ministers, preceded the opening ceremony of the 7th International Military Sports Council (CISM) Military World Games in Wuhan as part of the Honourable Pehin’s official visit to the People’s Republic of China from 17 to 22 October 2019. The opening of the games which was participated by 109 countries was officiated by President Xi. The Honourable Pehin also met and interacted with other defence ministers and military leaders at the sidelines of the games.
The 10-day event started on 18 October and CISM has become one of the biggest sports institutions in the world with a membership of 140 countries.
The opening ceremony of the 7th CISM Military World Games is held in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei Province.

REPUBLIK RAKYAT CHINA, Jumaat, 18 Oktober 2019 – Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Mejar Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Menteri Pertahanan Kedua membuat Kunjungan Hormat Bersama kepada Presiden Xi Jinping pada 18 Oktober 2019 di Wuhan, Republik Rakyat China.
Kunjungan Hormat tersebut diadakan bersama dengan menteri-menteri pertahanan lain sebelum majlis pembukaan

di mana ianya sebahagian daripada program Lawatan Rasmi Yang Berhormat Pehin ke Republik Rakyat China dari 17 hingga 22 Oktober 2019. Majlis pembukaan
CISM Military World Games yang disertai oleh 109 buah negara telah dirasmikan oleh Presiden Xi. Yang Berhormat Pehin juga berpeluang untuk bertemu dengan menteri-menteri pertahanan dan ketua-ketua tentera lain di samping acara berkenaan.
Acara selama 10 hari berkenaan bermula pada 18 Oktober dan CISM adalah antara salah satu institusi sukan yang terkemuka di dunia dengan sejumlah 140 ahli negara.
