BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 1 August 2019 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony in conjunction with the RBAF’s 58th Anniversary at the Ad-Difa’ Surau in Bolkiah Garrison.
Present at the ceremony as the Guest of Honour was Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of RBAF.
Also in attendance were Service Commanders, Joint Force Commander RBAF, Military Directors, Commandants, senior officers, officers as well as personnel of the RBAF.
The ceremony began with the recital of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the recitation of Al-Quran verses by Warrant Officer 2 Aliuddin bin Haji Sarbini, RBN and concluded with the recitation of Doa Khatam by Lieutenant Mohd Farid bin Raffi, from the RBAF Religious Department.
The event then proceeded with the Dikir Marhaban followed by the presentation of souvenirs to the 116 Khatam participants before concluding with the recital of a prayer.
MAJLIS KHATAM AL-QURAN SEMPENA HARI ULANG TAHUN ABDB KE 58
BOLKIAH GARISON, Khamis, 1 Ogos 2019 – Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah meraikan Majlis Khatam Al-Quran sempena Hari Ulang Tahun ABDB yang ke-58 bertempat di Surau Ad-Difa’ di Bolkiah Garison pagi ini.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis ialah Mejar Jeneral Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Pemerintah ABDB.
Turut hadir ialah Pemerintah-Pemerintah Angkatan Tentera, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama, Pengarah-pengarah Tentera, Komandan-komandan, pegawai-pegawai kanan, pegawai-pegawai serta anggota ABDB.
Upacara bermula dengan bacaan Sayyidul Istighfar dan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan bacaan ayat-ayat suci Al-Quran oleh Pegawai Waran 2 Aliuddin bin Haji Sarbini, TLDB dan diakhiri dengan Doa Khatam oleh Leftenan Mohd Farid bin Raffi, Pegawai Ugama di Jabatan Agama ABDB.
Acara diteruskan dengan Dikir Marhaban serta penyampaian cenderahati kepada 116 peserta-peserta Khatam Al-Quran serta ditutup dengan bacaan doa.
