MUARA, Friday, 5 April 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed the arrival of ROKS DAE JO YONG, Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) Ship. ROKS DAE JO YONG is currently in Brunei Darussalam from 5 April 2019 until 7 April 2019.
During the goodwill visit, Captain Sung Jae Hur, ROKN paid a courtesy call to Captain Hj Othman bin Hj Suhaili @ Suhaily, RBN, the Acting Commander of the RBN. Both sides discussed on opportunities to enhance the bilateral relations between RBN and ROKN.
ROKN also held an onboard reception hosted by Captain Sung Jae Hur, ROKN. Present as the Guest of Honour was Acting Commander of RBN and His Excellency Yoon Hyun-Bong, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam. Also present during the reception were senior officers and officers of RBN.
While in Brunei Darussalam, ROKN participated in professional exchanges where both RBN and ROKN had opportunities to share experiences and knowledge as well and to foster friendly relations. ROKS DAE JO YONG also conducted Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with KDB AFIAT, the RBN’s vessel before departing to her next port of call.
KAPAL TENTERA LAUT REPUBLIK KOREA TIBA DI BRUNEI DARUSSALAM UNTUK LAWATAN MUHIBBAH

– Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB) menyambut ketibaan Kapal ROKS DAE JO YONG, Tentera Laut Republik Korea (TLRK) yang sedang membuat lawatan muhibbah ke Negara Brunei Darussalam daripada 5 April 2019 hingga 7 April 2019.
Semasa lawatan muhibbah tersebut, Kepten Sung Jae Hur, TLRK mengadakan kunjungan hormat kepada Kepten Hj Othman bin Hj Suhaili @ Suhaily, Pemangku Pemerintah TLDB. Kedua-dua belah pihak membincangkan mengenai dengan peluang kerjasama untuk mengukuhkan hubungan dua hala diantara TLDB dan TLRK.
TLRK juga telah mengadakan malam resepsi di kapal ROKS DAE JO YONG yang dihoskan oleh Kepten Sung Jae Hur. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Pemerintah TLDB dan Tuan Yang Terutama Yoon Hyun-Bong, Duta Besar Republik Korea ke Negara Brunei Darussalam. Turut hadir juga ialah pegawai-pegawai kanan dan pegawai-pegawai TLDB.
Semasa di Negara Brunei Darussalam, TLRK telah mengambil bahagian dalam pertukaran professional di mana TLDB dan TLRK berpeluang untuk berkongsi pengalaman dan pengetahuan serta mengeratkan lagi persahabatan. ROKS DAE JO YONG juga mengadakan Latihan Passage (PASSEX) bersama dengan KDB AFIAT, kapal TLDB sebelum menuju ke destinasi berikutnya.
