BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 22 April 2022 – In conjunction with the RBAF’s 61st anniversary, a prize presentation of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Musabaqah Al-Qur’an for the finalists was held at Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garrison where a total of 10 contestants competed on 20th April 2022 at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air Force Base.
Present as the Guest of Honour and presenting the prizes was Yang Mulia Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commander of the RBAF. Also present were the Service Commanders, Joint Force Commander, military directors, officers and personnel of the RBAF.
The Qari champion title went to Private Mohammad Zainol Ariffin bin Haji Haminuddin from the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF). The runner-up prize went to Lance Corporal Awang Zulhilmi bin Haji Julaiha from the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), while the third place was awarded to Private (U) Mohammad Iqbal Hibatullah @ Hilal bin Mohammad Rushidi from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
For the Qariah category, the champion title was awarded to Captain Nurulaini binti Haji Mohammad Zain of the RBLF, while the runner-up and third places were awarded to Lieutenant Siti Salihah binti Haji Aji from MINDEF and Sergeant Masrani binti Jefferi of Training Institute RBAF respectively.
The musabaqah then continued with the presentation of prizes and souvenirs to the contestants and concluded with a closing doa recited by the Acting Director of the Religious Directorate RBAF (JAMA’AT).
MAJLIS MUSABAQAH AL-QUR’AN PERINGKAT AKHIR SEMPENA HARI ULANG TAHUN ABDB KE-61 TAHUN
Berakas Garison, Jumaat, 22 April 2022 – Majlis Pengumuman Keputusan dan Penyampaian Hadiah-Hadiah Musabaqah Al-Qur’an Peringkat Akhir Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) sempena Hari Ulang Tahun ABDB ke-61 telah berlangsung hari ini di Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garison di mana seramai 10 peserta telah bertanding di peringkat akhir pada 20 April 2022 di Surau Al-Barakah, Pengkalan Tentera Udara Rimba.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat majlis serta menyampaikan hadiah-hadiah ialah Yang Mulia Mejar Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah ABDB. Turut hadir ialah Pemerintah-pemerintah Angkatan Tentera, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama, pengarah-pengarah tentera serta pegawai-pegawai dan anggota ABDB.
Johan Qari telah disandang oleh Soldadu Mohammad Zainol Ariffin bin Haji Haminuddin dari Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB). Naib johan dimenangi oleh Lans Koporal Awang Zulhimi bin Haji Julaiha dari Kementerian Pertahanan dan tempat ketiga pula dimenangi oleh Soldadu (U) Mohammad Iqbal Hibatullah @ Hilal bin Mohammad Rushidi dari Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB).
Manakala johan Qariah pula disandang oleh Kapten Nurulaini binti Haji Mohammad Zain dari TDDB manakala naib johan dan tempat ketiga telah masing-masing dimenangi oleh Leftenenan Siti Salihah binti Haji Aji dari Kementerian Pertahanan dan Sarjan Masrani binti Jefferi dari Institut Latihan ABDB.
Musabaqah kemudian diteruskan dengan penyampaian hadiah dan cenderahati kepada peserta yang bertanding dan diakhiri dengan doa penutup yang dibacakan oleh Pemangku Pengarah Jabatanarah Agama ABDB (JAMA’AT).
