BERAKAS GARRISON, Saturday, 19 December 2020 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Military Cadet (RBAF MC) held a pistol competition for Military Cadets of Higher Educational Institution (HEI) at the 30M Shooting Range in Berakas Garrison.
The shooting competition was participated by Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), Politeknik Brunei (PB), and Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College (KUPU SB).
The competition prizes were presented to the winners by Lieutenant Colonel Muhd Suradzin bin Haji Muhd Yusof, Commanding Officer of the Royal Brunei Malay Reserve Unit (ASMDB) who was the guest of honour at the closing ceremony.
Champion for the male team category went to UTB ‘A, whilst Politeknik Brunei ‘B’ took second place and third place went to UNISSA. Whereas champion for the female team category went to Politeknik Brunei ‘B’, second place and third place went to Politeknik Brunei ‘A’ and UTB respectively.
The best individual male pistol category was Lance Corporal Military Cadet Muhd Khairul Amirin bin Haji Yassin while the best individual female pistol category went to Private Military Cadet Dhabitah Zahidah bte Murni. Both individuals were from Politeknik Brunei ‘B’.
The pistol shooting competition aims to foster a spirit of teamwork and cooperation as well as bring about the sense of cohesiveness and excellence among cadets from the participating higher education institutions.
PERLAWANAN MENEMBAK PISTOL BAGI KADET TENTERA ABDB PERINGKAT INSTITUT PENGAJIAN TINGGI 2020
BERAKAS GARISON, Sabtu, 19 Disember 2020 – Kadet Tentera Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (KT ABDB) telah mengendalikan Perlawanan Menembak Pistol bagi ahli-ahli Kadet Tentera Institut Pengajian Tinggi (IPT) di Padang Tembak 30M, Berakas Garison.
Perlawanan menembak telah disertai oleh Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), Politeknik Brunei (PB) dan Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB).
Hadiah-hadiah perlawanan telah disampaikan kepada para pemenang oleh Leftenan Kolonel Muhd Suradzin bin Haji Muhd Yusof, Pegawai Pemerintah Askar Simpanan Melayu Diraja Brunei (ASMDB) selaku tetamu kehormat di majlis penutup perlawanan itu.
Juara bagi kategori pasukan lelaki dimenangi oleh UTB ‘A’, sementara naib johan diraih oleh Politeknik Brunei ‘B’ dan UNISSA ditempat ketiga. Manakala juara bagi kategori pasukan wanita disandang oleh Politeknik Brunei ‘B’, naib johan dan tempat ketiga masing-masing dimenangi oleh Politeknik Brunei ‘A’ dan UTB.
Penembak pistol terbaik individu bagi lelaki dimenangi oleh Lans Koperal Kadet Tentera Muhd Khairul Amirin bin Haji Yassin, sementara penembak pistol terbaik individu bagi wanita dimenangi oleh Soldadu Kadet Tentera Dhabitah Zahidah bte Murni. Kedua-dua individu adalah dari Politeknik Brunei ‘B’.
Perlawanan menembak ini bertujuan untuk memupuk semangat kerja berpasukan dan usahasama, serta mewujudkan semangat setiakawan dan kecemerlangan di kalangan kadet dari institusi pengajian tinggi yang mengambil bahagian.
